Welcome to The Sound! My name is Pastor Jacqueline or Pastor ‘JC’.  I got saved in 2001, but did not realize that I was not living my life purposefully. As God began to deal with me, He told me, on two occasions, that He couldn’t use me the way He wanted to. I was saved and lost all at the same time. Not even realizing it! I began to mature spiritually and my eyes opened. I took notice of the people God placed in my path who made an investment in me. I will be forever thankful that He loved me that much to make the investment.

Through out the years I took note of the hurdles and obstacles that I had to cross to be the person I am today. My desire is to share how the Truth of God sheds light on every circumstance in my life and enables me to live on Purpose. The Truth impacted me and I will NEVER be the same. My desire is to help those who are just like I was; saved and lost. Going through the motions of life, successfully I might add, but shallow, empty, and unfulfilled on the inside. Having a slew of questions and thoughts but never finding the right forum to express them. My prayer is that this blog will shorten someone’s path to their Purpose. I will share what God places in my spirit and the resources that He pointed me to.

God told me to start this blog even if it cost me financially. He stated for me to populate it with pictures that I have taken with my own camera (photography is my hobby). I gathered my bible, my journal, my pen, and my camera, and got busy. Every photo on this site was taken by me from my travels and whatever catches my eye. They are mostly of nature. I love nature, it is beautiful and it reminds me of how Great and Mighty God is! Enjoy.

Stop in, stay a while and chat a little (please be respectful). Magnify the Lord with me!

I really feel welcomed here. I see we share something. I was saved(in secondary school- its what we call ‘high school’ here) and lost for five years. iIt took me those years to know that i was going through mere motions and not actually serving God. Most times I have wished I could get them back, But Thank God I’m better now and still getting better.
That pics is amazing. The page title(welcome) is unique..

I am glad you feel welcome…your ‘about me’ section on your blog is very welcoming too 🙂

We call it Primary and Secondary School in Guyana too lol….
yeah so many of us are ‘lost’ and saved at the same time but we are not honest about it. This blog was a challenge because I knew God wanted me to be transparent so that the Truth of my life could bless someone else…

      Blessings my sister

Wow!! You and I are very similar. Passionate about the Lord and LOVE photography. I particularly like nature too, I think it is because it is God’s creation, you can just feel His presences so much more when you are in the midst of it!!! Anyway, glad to stumble apon your blog!! I also saw you are from Guyana, I have been there!!! For a missions trip last summer, it is a GREAT place. I loved it. I have many friends there now that I consider my family. As that is what we are, one big family of Christ. 🙂

Hello Pastor JC. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. 🙂

Yours is an inspirational story. I think we can all relate to having felt lost at some point in our lives. I’m happy that God has shown you your purpose and challenged you to do things you perhaps never thought you would or could do. That, I believe, is what life is all about.
